Fantastic Doll Holiday Party!

Today I had some of my friends come over for a doll Holiday gift exchange! I think it was a time to          remember we did lots of fun crafts too like wreaths, jingle-bells, ornaments also frames too put fun images in.

Summer Water Fun!

Me and my neighbor friend thought it was hot out today and we got out our swimsuits and a hose to spray each other with.  We had a lot of fun.

How Rebecca Came to Live With Us

When we went to the American Girl store my mom said that I could get any doll that I wanted. She kept having me look at Rebecca but I wanted McKenna so I got her. Well, my mom really wanted Rebecca I guess because she went and got her!! She found Rebecca for sale on ebay for $40 and she bought her! I can't believe it! It's my mom's doll but I get to keep it in my room and play with her too and she really is cute. Today we made some smore's with her to welcome her home. Can you believe how cute she is? My mom thought her hair might be messier than it is, but she's really in good shape.

My Dolls

A lot has happened since I last blogged.  I now have another new doll from a trip we took to the American Girl Place.  I got McKenna who is the girl of the year this year!  I kind of still can't believe it!  I love her!  My dolls now are Kristen, Zoe, McKenna and Emily.

Meet Emily!

My Grandma Sue came to visit and help with my birthday party with friends this year and when she came she arrived with a big bag and inside the bag was 4 American Girl dolls!  I couldn't believe it!  She found the dolls listed on Craig's List near Madison and she went around the city to check out many, many, dolls and then ended up getting 4 of them and let me choose 1 to keep.  She had Kaya, Kit, Samantha and Emily.  I chose Emily.  She is adorable.  I love the color of her hair and how shiny it is.  She is so pretty and she is already great friends with Kristen and Zoe.  My grandma got the 4 dolls for less than the price of 1 new American Girl doll!  Can you believe that?  My grandma is keeping the other dolls at her house so she can make doll clothes and have dolls to "test" out if they fit right or not.  I get to play with them too when I go to her house.  They will be my dolls' cousins.  I love my dolls!!  Thank you Grandma Sue Sue!

Last Day of School!

Today was the last day of 2nd grade!  I LOVED my teacher this year so much.  She was funny, silly, she helped me when I needed help and encouraged me when I needed encouragement.  She also celebrated all my accomplishments along the way.  I really love her and will miss her but will visit her next year when I am in third grade.

After school I went to Montessori (where my mom works) and got to share in their last day of school celebration too.  They had a bounce house and I jumped in it all afternoon (I only had a half day of school at my other school).  It was so FUN!

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!  My puppy got his hair cut and now he feels a lot better and cooler and perfect.  Isn't he cute?  I love him so much!

Matching Hairstyles

My mom did my hair tonight to match my doll!  I love it and hope that it stays looking nice so that in the morning I can wear it like this to school.

Happy Earth Day!

Since it's Earth Day today I thought I'd take a picture of the tree I planted last year on Earth Day.  You can see the White Pine tree behind me.  It's still quite small but it's growing bigger and bigger every day!



My friend came over today, we were playing with our dolls and we decided to have an Earth Day parade with our dolls!



We made flags for our dolls and banners for us.



We talked about how important it is to care for our Earth!  Happy Earth Day!

Zoe's Ice Skating Accident

Today Zoe and Kristen and their dog Pepper went ice skating (I made the rink with aluminum foil).  They had so much fun...



It was Kristen's first time skating...can you tell?  She has so much fun though and got the hang of it.  Unfortunately, Zoe ended up falling and hurting her foot.



Kristen was a good sister and took Zoe right to the hospital where she got all taken care of.  She will have to keep her cast on for one whole week!  Kristen got her a card and a nice gift while she was getting her cast on.



Zoe loved her scarf so much!  She felt so special too that Kristen was busy thinking of her while she was with the doctor.



All the girls at school have been wearing scarves lately so this will be so fun to wear she thought.



Kristen and Pepper love Zoe so much and were so worried about her.  They are so glad that she will be feeling more like herself very soon.  Perhaps they will go ice skating again very soon!

Over the Weekend...

 I took it easy with my mom and we relaxed outside for a bit. My doll joined us for awhile too. I can't wait until next weekend.

 

 We also made a tee pee out of some sticks that were in our yard. It's pretty cool!

First Day of Spring Break

This is me when I came in from outside today.  I was very happy.  I built a fairy house outside.

My dog was chewing on me so I gave him 2 chew toys to play with instead!

He had a lot of fun!

I spent a lot of time on this for my mom.
